  • Make searches relevant. If you have a search facility, make sure that it helpful for misspellings and doesn’t return unrelated results. A poor search facility is next to useless for many visitors.

  • Make the site easy to use. By ensuring that the site is easy to use, and has all the features that users expect, they are more likely to spend time on the site and return to the site.

  • Ensure that the CMS easy to use and effective. Your clients won’t want to update a site that is hard to use. They also won’t want to make the most of their website by using video, images and social media.

  • Use includes to keep the code clean and quick to load. A site that is quick to load will be advantageous for both visitors and search engines alike.
